In helping Pearson Education grow its user experience efforts, Alex Sulgrove and I developed a strategy to help build design thinking within the company by reaching out to other non-UX departments with the focus on creating dialogue on how Pearson can revamp the education experience. Pearson, being the world's largest education company and book publisher, has the opportunity to shape how people learn. However, like every great product, the product begins within the company; and building a good UX vision is key.
The project was completely collaborative, in sketching and ideating the bigger problem and solution. One of my strongest contribution to the project was the converting of the ideas and vision we had into written form. I wrote the deliverable, which was a short email highlighting what our thoughts were on the strategy. You can view the PDF by clicking "download letter" to the right.
